Fundraiser Support
Can I use the Shriners Children's Logo to promote my event?
- In order to protect the integrity of the brand and limit confusion between Shriners Children’s hosted Signature Events and approved fundraising partnerships that are contractually permitted to use the logo, logo rights will not be granted to third-party fundraisers. However, fundraisers are allowed to use a beneficiary logo that will be provided upon approval.
- Organizers may not use copyrighted information, logos, or photos on the Shriners Children’s website without written consent.
Can I use the Shriners Children's name in my fundraiser?
Shriners Children’s cannot be used in the event title but may be identified as the beneficiary of the event. For example, an event may not be referred to as “Shriners Children’s Bake Sale.” Instead, it should be promoted as “XYZ Bake Sale to Benefit Shriners Children’s.”
Can I use the Shriners Children’s mascot plush bear, also known as “Fezzy” to promote my event?
Usage of the bear, Fezzy, a key identifier of Shriners Children’s, is not permitted by third-party fundraisers. This includes both the print image and life-size mascot costume.
Permission will not be granted for the purchase of a Fezzy mascot costume.
Will Shriners Children's donate items, prizes, or giveaways to support my fundraiser?
As a non-profit organization we are unable to provide giveaway items for fundraisers, however items may be purchased at shopshrinerschildrens.org.
Will Shriners Children's send an official representative to my event?
As a nonprofit with limited staff and resources, we cannot guarantee that an on-site representative will be present the day of the event. Any request for a Shriners Children’s representative to attend an event can be sent to events@shrinenet.org.
Can I fundraise through an online platform?
Yes, Shriners Children’s will provide you with a dedicated online fundraising page that can be shared with friends and family through email, social media platforms, and other channels.
Using PayPal or other web donation/money accepting platforms outside of Shriners Children’s own peer‐to‐peer platform, as a donation collection portal is prohibited.

Yes, click here to see if your employer will match your donation.
Can I get sponsors for my fundraiser?
Sponsors are a great way to offset event expenses that may be incurred by the Organizer.
All sponsors must be informed that even though your fundraiser benefits Shriners Children’s, it is not a Shriners Children’s owned or hosted event. By sponsoring your fundraiser, companies will not be allowed to use the Shriners Children’s logo, and they should not imply that Shriners Children’s is endorsing their products or brand.
Can I hold a raffle for Shriners Children's?
Raffles, drawings, and other games of chance are governed by a variety of state, municipal, and federal laws. If you are holding a raffle, drawing or other game of chance at your event, be aware that such an activity can require special permits, and the Organizer should allow extra time for these to be obtained. Organizers are responsible for obtaining all permits, licenses, and insurance certificates.
Can my company sell a product to benefit Shriner Children's?
Selling products with the Shiners Children’s logo is a commercial co-venture and must be reviewed and implemented through our Strategic Partnerships program. Please contact corporatepartners@shrinenet.org.
